Magic City Poker Room Pays Out $195,423 Jackpot

The all-new Magic City Casino, Miami’s first casino to offer Las Vegas style slot machines, paid out the largest Royal Flush jackpot to a single individual in the history of Florida card rooms on Saturday, April 3, 2010, breaking its own record set on January 13, 2010. Leonides Lopez Martinez hit the Big Slick Royal Progressive Jackpot in the amount of $195,423 at the Magic City Poker Room.

Lopez Martinez won the record-breaking jackpot with a Spade Royal Flush using the Ace and King of Spades as his hole cards. He is a long-time player at the Magic City Poker Room and was playing $1-$2 no limit.

The Magic City Poker Room had recently set the record for the largest Royal Flush jackpot paid out to a single individual in Florida card room history, when Michael Lucas won $194,803 on January 13, 2010. Lopez
Martinez’s win now holds the title.

“To make history in the state of Florida twice in a matter of three months is tremendous,” said Scott Savin,

that we broke the very record we set is very exciting.”

The Big Slick Royal Progressive Jackpot is currently estimated at over $108,000.
