Ribeiro is best known for his comedic portrayal of Will Smith’s uptight cousin, Carlton, in the TV series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Comedian Jimmie “JJ” Walker, who coined the catch-phrase, “Dy-no-mite!” was the star of the Good Times sitcom on CBS.

The party starts when a junkanoo band begins roaming the floor and tossing blackjack beads. The reggae band Higher Ground will perform all afternoon, and at 6 p.m., Jimmie Walker will perform his hilarious stand-up act. Seminole casinos can offer real blackjack exclusively 24 hours a day, seven days a week due to a compact agreement passed into law by the Florida Legislature and approved by the U.S. Department of the Interior in July. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek began higher limit blackjack games on Aug. 13. Seminole Casino Hollywood hired 90 blackjack dealers, mostly from Florida, for its 12 tables.

Going to War: If your card matches the dealer’s in rank, you can either surrender half your bet or “go to war.” When going to war, you and the dealer match your original bet, putting the money on the layout. You and the dealer will each get another card, and if you beat the dealer, you win all three bets. If you go to war and tie the dealer, not only do you win, but you win an extra unit. Winning ties when going to war is huge.

Mardi Gras will be giving away a red, a white, and a blue Ford Mustang as a Memorial Day promotion.

Red, White and Blue will be the theme as Mardi Gras prepares to give away three 2010 Mustangs on Memorial Day weekend. The Crappiest Promotion at Mardi Gras Casino will give players a chance to win $15,000 every hour, every Friday in April.

“The Crappiest Promotion” plays off of an old casino favorite, craps. While South Florida casinos can not legally offer craps to their customers, this well-developed promotion brings players close to craps action, without the risk of losing any of their hard-earned cash.

In order to participate players must be a Mardi Gras Casino Player’s Club member. Signing up for a Player’s Club membership is as easy as showing identification at the guest relations desk inside Mardi Gras Casino.

“The Crappiest Promotion” begins this Friday and continues each subsequent Friday in April. There will be six hourly drawings starting at 4:45PM. In each drawing, five Player’s Club members who are present, and who have used their Player’s Club card that day, will be chosen to compete in that hour’s game.

At the top of the hour, the five chosen players will head over to a large sixteen foot table with “The Crappiest Promotion” logo in the middle. The first player is given two over-sized purple dice. The player rolls the dice, and based on the outcome, either wins bonus money or loses bonus money for the entire team of five players.

If the first outcome is a seven, the largest amount possible, $1,000, is awarded to the team. The player then would choose whether to roll the dice again, or pass them on to the next player. The maximum number of allowed rolls for each player is three.

If the player chooses to pass, the next player would then make their first roll. Play continues until all five players have had a chance to roll the dice. At the end, the total amount of bonus money gained will be credited to ALL five Player’s Club accounts.

If a player rolls a two, three, or twelve, they lose the rest of their turn and all of the bonus money their team has accumulated to that point.
